Quantum Queen MT5 Setup Checklist: Installation, VPS & Broker Compatibility

Use this checklist when you are ready to verify platform, broker and installation compatibility.

1. Confirm the platform

Quantum Queen is supplied for MetaTrader 5. Desktop Expert Advisor files do not run locally inside the standard Android or iPhone MT5 app. The EA needs an active Windows MT5 desktop terminal or compatible VPS; your phone can monitor the same account.

2. Confirm the market and symbol

The current PMotive Quantum Queen product focuses on Gold / XAUUSD. Broker symbol names can vary, such as XAUUSD, XAUUSDm or another broker-specific suffix. Verify the exact symbol and contract specification before attaching the EA.

3. Confirm account compatibility

Check your broker's MT5 account type, hedging support, spreads, execution conditions and trading permissions. Do not assume that an EA behaves identically across every broker or account type.

4. Install the EA correctly

1. Install MetaTrader 5 on Windows or a compatible VPS.
2. Open File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts.
3. Copy the supplied EX5 file into the Experts folder.
4. Restart MT5 or refresh Expert Advisors in Navigator.
5. Open the compatible XAUUSD chart.
6. Attach Quantum Queen and review every input before enabling algorithmic trading.

5. Decide whether you need a VPS

A VPS is useful when you want MT5 and the EA to remain online without depending on your personal computer. PMotive does not currently sell a standalone VPS product. If continuous hosting is required, choose a reputable Windows VPS that meets your broker and latency requirements.

6. Test on demo first

Check that the EA loads without errors and that the selected symbol, account type and settings are correct. Review the Experts and Journal tabs. Demo testing does not guarantee future live results, but it helps identify setup and compatibility problems before risking capital.

7. Monitor from your phone

Once the EA is running on desktop or VPS, log into the same broker account through MT5 mobile. You can monitor balance, equity, open positions and history from Android or iPhone while the EA continues to execute remotely.
