How to Set Up BullyMax Pro 2026 on MT5 — Installation Guide
Share
This is PMotive's primary BullyMax Pro 2026 installation guide. It covers the correct MetaTrader 5 setup for the BullyMax Pro Gold MT5 EA — 2026 Flagship Edition without assuming one broker, symbol suffix or risk setting fits every account.
Before you start
You need MetaTrader 5 for Windows or a compatible Windows VPS, the current BullyMax Pro EA file supplied with your purchase, and an MT5 trading account. For first-time setup, use a demo account so you can confirm compatibility before risking live funds.
Step 1: Install and open MetaTrader 5
Install the desktop version of MT5 supplied by your broker or an official MetaTrader source. Log into the account you intend to test and confirm the correct server and account type.
Step 2: Copy BullyMax Pro into the Experts folder
- In MT5, choose File → Open Data Folder.
- Open MQL5 → Experts.
- Copy the current BullyMax Pro EX5 file into the Experts folder.
- Return to MT5 and refresh Expert Advisors in Navigator, or restart MT5.
Step 3: Open your broker's Gold / XAUUSD chart
BullyMax Pro 2026 is PMotive's flagship Gold / XAUUSD MT5 EA. Broker symbol names can differ, for example XAUUSD, XAUUSDm or another suffix. Use the actual Gold symbol supplied by your broker and follow the current product-specific instructions for timeframe and settings rather than assuming every broker uses an identical configuration.
Step 4: Attach the EA and review its inputs
Drag BullyMax Pro from Navigator onto the intended Gold chart. Review the inputs carefully before enabling algorithmic trading. Do not increase lot size, disable risk controls or copy settings from another account simply because they produced a short period of favourable results elsewhere.
Step 5: Enable algorithmic trading
Make sure MT5 allows algorithmic trading and that the EA is permitted to operate. If the EA does not load or trade, inspect the Experts and Journal tabs for messages about permissions, symbol compatibility or setup errors.
Step 6: Test on demo
Confirm that the EA loads without errors and that the intended broker symbol and product settings are selected. A demo test can help identify setup problems, but demo execution does not guarantee live performance because spreads, slippage, liquidity and broker conditions can differ.
Step 7: Decide whether you need a VPS
If BullyMax Pro runs on your personal computer, it stops when MT5 or the computer is offline. A compatible Windows VPS can keep the desktop MT5 terminal online continuously. PMotive does not currently sell a standalone VPS product, so choose a reputable provider that meets your broker and latency requirements if you need continuous hosting.
Step 8: Monitor from MT5 mobile
The Android and iPhone MT5 apps do not run EX5 Expert Advisors locally. Keep the EA running on the desktop terminal or VPS and log into the same trading account from your phone to monitor balance, equity, open positions and history.
For a detailed mobile workflow, use the MT5 Mobile EA setup guide.
Common setup problems
BullyMax Pro does not appear in Navigator
Confirm the EX5 file is inside the correct MQL5 → Experts folder, then refresh Navigator or restart MT5.
The EA is attached but cannot trade
Check algorithmic-trading permissions and review the Experts and Journal tabs for errors.
The broker does not show exactly “XAUUSD”
Many brokers add a prefix or suffix. Verify the broker's actual Gold symbol and its contract specifications before testing.
No trade has opened yet
An EA only acts when its programmed conditions are met. A period with no trades does not by itself mean the software is faulty.
The EA stops when the PC is switched off
That is expected when MT5 is running locally. Use a compatible Windows VPS if you require the desktop terminal to remain online while your computer is off.
Before moving from demo to live
- Confirm the correct broker account and server.
- Confirm the Gold/XAUUSD symbol and product-specific settings.
- Check the Experts and Journal tabs for errors.
- Understand the EA's risk controls before changing them.
- Use position sizing appropriate for your own risk tolerance.
